For the past four years, we have worked with APS teachers Sue Triplett and Ramon Gomez in their Highland high art classes to create designs for two  large signs along Central Ave. This past spring, a generous grant from PNM allowed us to expand our program to bring additional artists into Highland classes. Lindsey Fromm, James Meara, Erin Fussell and Christy Cook led over 60 students  though a series of field trips, photography, graphic design and painting techniques to create several bold sign designs.

Allyson Packer  worked with Sue Triplett's photo class at Highland to create two images for the old American Inn sign at 4501 Central.
